Meet our Teachers
The quality of a school has to be the quality of the teaching staff. We are beyond fortunate to have a team of teachers truly dedicated to positive outcomes for all children.
Meet our teachers below!
It is an honour and privilege to lead St Martin’s as principal. My vision is to ensure our students have a love of learning, our staff are passionate about teaching and our parents are supported in their journey. My happy place outside of school is by the beach, especially in Hawaii. I love spending time with family and friends and enjoy cooking, dancing and playing tennis.
Deputy Principal / Religious Education Leader
I count my blessings every day that I get to lead an amazing dedicated staff and instil a great love of learning and a love of Jesus within our students. What brings me joy is watching my boys play football on a cold winter’s day and spending time in the Victorian great outdoors.

I have been part of this community for 21 years, originally as a parent of three boys and more recently as the Learning Diversity Leader. In my role I predominately support students with diverse needs. I’m a huge fan of the Pies as are my husband, boys and our spoodle Cosmo. I am truly blessed to be part of this community and I love getting to know and build relationships with all its members.
Wellbeing Leader / 6AM classroom teacher
As the Student Wellbeing Leader my focus is on helping our school to continue to build an environment where our students feel safe, build positive relationships and are engaged in learning that helps them to flourish as young people who look to Jesus as their model.
As a parent at SMOT I most valued relationships developed with teachers, parents and children. Now, as a teacher at SMOT it is nurturing these wonderful relationships between parents, teachers and children, that I still highly value. I also cherish spending time with my family and friends.
I have been a part of the St Martin’s teaching staff & community for many years and have seen lots of change, both physically & academically. I love what I do. On a personal note I love spending time with family & friends, reading, travelling and playing board games!

As a new teacher to St Martin’s, I feel truly blessed to be a part of such a loving and caring community. Teaching in the junior school is invigorating, and continues to spark my passion for teaching. Nothing beats those lightbulb moments when students learn new strategies to be successful in the classroom, or on the yard with their lifelong friends! I am passionate about student wellbeing, in particular supporting social skill development through modelling, and incorporating relevant and engaging activities for our junior students. Outside of the classroom you will find me taking my beautiful pup Shiloh, on adventurous walks.

Fast forward 11 years and both my children have experienced a wonderful well rounded education at St. Martin’s and I have had the pleasure of teaching and nurturing many students. When I am not at St. Martin’s you will probably find me watching my children’s basketball and footy games or going on a run.

Gday. I have been teaching for 40 years and 31 of them have been here at St. Martin’s. I am qualified in horticulture, V.C.A.H. Burnley and love to get my hands dirty enjoying the fresh air and early mornings. I am delighted to be still working with talented teaching professionals who can still humour me and to quote Clint Eastwood, “Make My Day”.
It’s a privilege to be working at St Martin’s teaching the Italian language. I love working with children exploring the Italian culture and language through stories, songs, games, conversations and greetings, whilst allowing them to embrace their own culture. I enjoy time with my family and going to the beach.
I enjoy bringing my passion for music and song to all children I teach and love to see them flourish with confidence in my classes especially here in the wonderful community of St Martin’s, in my 27th year of teaching. I am married with beautiful teenage daughters, a Pom called Archie, who are also musical, lovers of movies and travel.
I am passionate about education and making a positive difference in the lives of young people. In my spare time I enjoy playing all sports and spending time with my family and friends.
For children, art is the place to go where there is no wrong answer; instead, there is the question ‘what else is possible?’ I believe teaching Art keeps my spirit young and fresh as I accompany and celebrate the children’s creative expressions.
Library / Art
I love being part of the warm and inclusive St Martin’s community. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing students find their flow through reading a good fit book or exploring their creative potential in Art. It’s a privilege to work in our amazing Library instilling in our students a love of literacy and supporting them to find books that engage and excite them as readers.
Library / Prep PJ
Getting lost in a good book is something that I love, even as an adult. Finding that good fit book that you can’t put down and instilling a life-long love of reading in all our students is something I strive for. We are so fortunate to have such a well-resourced and beautiful space in the Library where students and families are welcome at any time of day.
I love reading and am passionate about the power that libraries have to offer a safe and welcoming space to the entire community. I hope to make the library at SMOT a place where all students feel that they are welcome (and can find a book that they love!). I am also studying my Master of Information Management at RMIT, and in my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time outside.
Working at Saint Martins has been an amazing experience. It’s an honour to work alongside such bright and thoughtful students. Its rewarding working to provide the students with the resources and digital technology they need. Its my hope that DigiTech allows the students to reach their full potential and approach problems creatively and from various directions. In my free time I love to read, learn and spend time with friends.

I cherish spending time with my family and friends and going on holidays.
I have had the privilege of working at St Martin’s for 16 years. Over all those years, I can safely say that it never feels like coming to work as we have a fantastic staff and school community. Every year I love meeting our precious preppies and always feel sad farewelling our Year 6 students. I love to travel and spend time with family and friends.
